it looks very cool & eye candy but adds to the problem....it increases weight significantly....
I own one, added the rail & Aimpoint but removed it...too much weight

Modern rail system is light weight.
Maybe you don't shoot that much. If you shoot regularly enough you'll get used to the weight.

You never get used to the weight. Extra weight is extra weight as it will take its toll on the body during prolonged use. so right balance between light and heavy is the way to go. However, I agree that these rails are pretty light now.
