A lot of folks from Karachi proclaim their forefathers entered Pakistan via Lahore but as per my understanding the UP/bihar Muhajreen from India going Karachi took the other route that is first to Bombay and from there by ferry/boat to Karachi as Karachi was the port of entry for all and this went on all the way post partition upto early 70s.Can anyone confirm on this?
