Preliminary (Initial) Tests for ISSB - Preparation -Study Material

This post is meant to provide bit of assistance to prospective candidates of Armed Forces of Pakistan in assimilating initial test preparation.

Eligibility, Documents Required, Testing Dates and Procedure to Join Pakistan Arm, Navy and Air Force.

Can be checked at advertised posts and official websites of Army, Navy and Air force as under: -

Pakistan Army: https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/ - Top right-side menu has links to induction criteria, testing dates and outline procedure for different course of Pakistan Army. These links have pdf files embedded, hence may not open in most of the phone browsers. I suggest you to use PC or laptop for it. Alternatively, check the advertisement of the course which you want to join as posted by GHQ in most new papers.

Please note that the testing procedure of Armed forces includes A written test mostly conducted on computer in form of MCQs, which includes

• Intelligence Test – Verbal and Non Verbal.
• Academic Test – English, Math, Pak Studies, Islamiat, General Knowledge and in case of PAF/ Navy (physics) - Sample written test (1xset) & PDF Notes on initial issb Tests preparation, interview notes and physical test are at link above.
• These intelligence Test and GK / interview etc will apply to all Armed forces courses while for academic test there may be additional test of physics / chemistry.
• Physical Test and Interviews: May vary a bit with each service.
