Porsche all for introducing hybrid cars in Pakistan

Toyota Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid are already dominating the Pakistani market. They're in big numbers here in Peshawar too. Porsche is for the rich - ultra rich and they don't care about the fuel economy.

Porsche & luxury cars are for elite - So no need to lift duties, the one who want to buy they will buy at any cost and they can also afford fuel. Hybrid cars for common people should be introduced with local manufacturing facility (can be started from assembling)


BTW - How hybrid cars work? Do we need to charge, do we need to charge them?

Two motors operating single vehicle.

1. Induction Motor
2. Electrical Motor

Between 40 - 50 Kmh it operates on Electrical Motor, above that speed it goes to operate on induction motor. While in induction mode, it charges/recharges the battery used to run the electrical motor.
