Pakistan’s National Radio & Telecom Corporation (NRTC) plans to broaden military-technical cooperation with Russia in the sphere of radio technology, Izvestiya daily reported on Monday citing NRTC’s Project General Director Mohammed Masoud.

"We are interested in Russian technologies so that we can fill existing voids. At the Army-2016 (international forum), we were interested in surveillance systems, high-protection PCs and laptops, GPS and drone signal jammers, equipment for radio reconnaissance and control, covert information-gathering systems," the daily quoted Masoud as saying.

NRTC hopes to become the platform for promoting Russian technologies in Pakistan, he added.

The Army-2016 international military-technical forum was held on September 6-11. Over 1,000 companies took part in the event. Over 80 foreign delegation came to the forum, and most of them showed great interest for Russian weapons and equipment after dynamic demonstrations held daily at the Alabino training range in the Moscow Region.

Pakistan is not just planning for the now but the future and building up our air defences is part of that

And thats what I was about to post.

Way too much interest,but no changes on ground level.Same can be said about India(but for us,it was acquisition time,which not only gets delayed,but also tender gets cancelled several times) as well.We're hearing similar things for so many platforms at the same time.Even though it seems mythical,Pakistan probably will buy 4 Mi-35s at the end and thats it(That too,who buys 3 different attack choppers in the first place,that too in such low quantity).

Reading your post and many others, it seems to be working well....all the way up to the Indian PM's office. Apparently they are sending a senior minister to Russia to talk to them out of selling the SU-35 to Pakistanis.....
