I just recently joined this forum and so far found it to be a awesome.
I am at the moment doing some reading and research on the 1971 Indo Pak war and would like to ask the good members of this forum to help me out. My father served in this war and during the conflict, he was stationed in Bangladesh as an engineer from the Pak Army. He was imprisoned at the end of the war and was released later on after the govts reached an agreement. The war effected him a lot and he does not prefer to talk about it much ever since.
I would like to get some info on the role of Pak Army engineers which were station in Bangladesh. What was their role, their later involvement as infantry/fighting arms, imprisonment as well as prison conditions etc.
If anyone can share some links, photos or any information, i will greatly appreciate it.
