I like mine black.

.
Yeah black chai with half-and-half, I drink a variety of teas. Regular black tea (lipton), Irish, English, Ceylon, and others all with creme. How many cups a day do you drink? I usually go for 2 but haven't had a cup in awhile because I'm out of paper cups...smh I do have Redbull to keep me going but it's just not the same.

Also I prefer to brew my tea over the stove than microwave.

Pakistan Tea House - TriBeCa - New York, NY

Good comments about our natural tea drunk in NYC below this page you may want to read.

I usually just stick to black, and drink about 3-5 a day. It's so addicting and delicious!

Listen buddy, of course there are good comments, for foreigners even bland or simply cooked Pakistani food taste good, but for us Pakistanis our standard for Pakistani food will be higher as our taste is better adjusted and knows what to expect and quality...

In these types of buffet restaurants the food is often bland compared to our home cooking or authentic restaurants, but the locals still like it because to them it is still a new taste and often better then their own food options.

Thats not black. Its kadak.

Latest fad amongst the 40+s in my office here is gulping cups of green tea. Don't like it.

I didn't mean full black, black with milk, and I might have picked the wrong picture.

I like Mallu chai best. South Indians are born with the genes to make the best chai in the world.

I have gone into their dhabas to learn their way and I do the exact same thing but that flavor doesn't come. They have built palaces in Kerala by selling 1 Dirham chai cups here. The rich, the poor, everyone flocks to any dhaba that gets famous for chai.

We in Dubai are big chai drinkers. 5-10 cups a day is easy for me, depending on the day and we also get the best milk designed by rocket scientists for chai - called Rainbow milk. There isn't anything comparable. The milk has no smell, just taste.

I don't like Pakistani chai. The chai there has a totally different way of preparation called Doodh Patti. Which won't be so bad but the doodh there stinks like its been freshly squeezed out of the cow. I once had chai from a dhaba at Wagah border where he did just that, squeezed some milk out of the cow and directly made chai out if it :D. Horrible.

Yeah they do that in Rajasthan also. And sometimes from a camel (the type you keep simmering in a huge kadhai till it forms a malai layer inches thick - great with hot syrupy jalebis though). :)

Doodh patti ftw

Tea in boiled milk and sugar is the best thing ever :smitten:

I love 'Irani chai', in hyderabad, tastes even great with 'osmania biscuits'.

I like my chaaye to be strong/kadak and without sugar - I'm health concious
