History of Punjabis

Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq, Sultan of Delhi.jpg

"Literary, numismatic and epigraphic evidence makes it clear that Tughluq was the Sultan's personal name, and not an ancestral designation"

"It is known though that the home of the dynasty was Dipalpur, Punjab, a place adored by the founder of the dynasty Ghiyath Al Din Tughlaq"

"Tughlaq Nama declares Tughlaq to have been a minor chief of humble origins. Ghazi Malik was the chieftain of a tribe in Punjab and he held the fief of Dipalpur which is indicative of him being native to Punjab.Tughluq was a Multani by origins."

(My question to more knowledgeable members was Ghazi Malik chieftain of khokhar tribesmen or he was just supported by them- Ghazi Malik's Dastar Bandi or coronation ceremony was done by a Khokhar clan leader Gul Chand)

"The tughlaq empire was an empire created by Ghazi Malik who previously was said to of defeated the Mongols 22 times as far as Ghazni. The empires original military was formed of mainly Punjabis with the Punjabi khhokhar leader Gul chand even placing the crown on Ghazi malik when he became emperor. It was the first empire to adopt/promote punjabi culture with the first ever War ballad written in Punjabi by Amir Khusrau being given to Ghazi malik. The dynasties origins were in Dipalpur in Southern Punjab and according to many historians they were ethnically Punjabis."

His hatred for the mongol savages

Here's a citation of their early history:

Revisionists these days say that Lahoris wore salwar kameez/kurti those days and saree was not indigenous. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Teji Bachchan was born in Lyallpur, renamed to Faisalabad later.
