This is the advantage the Taliban hold. They melt away like unconventional forces or form up and launch conventional assaults against isolated Kabul regime garrisons.

IMO, if Taliban had good manpad sams, then Kabul security forces would be in serious trouble. Their helicopter resupply would be under threat as well as their air support.
