The question is why did Muslims stay in India if they had reservations about following the constitution of India with regards to ban on beef or singing Nation anthems

Most of them never wanted to, just like the muslims of Kashmir,hyderabad,junagarh and bihar but india illegaly invaded them.India is one of the countries whose demographics are gonna change big time in future.

I understand India annexing the provinces but until 1965 India-Pakistan borders were still very porous and they could have moved to east or west Pakistan very easily. Food habits impact people on a daily basis. There must be something which is keeping them in India. Not sure if it poverty (hence unable to emmigrate) or something else.

Yes Muslims are the fastest growing group in India and would be a majority in another 30 years.

Agreed, these ppl utilize all the benefits when they fail to succeed they play the victim card very well. No body is preventing them from moving to pakistan or which ever country they feel comfortable. A defamation suit should be filed against him for bringing disrepute to police.
