China,S.Arabia to cooperate in Defence

The main problems with the Saudi's is that they really way to much on different nations for there weapons. Everytime they purchase weapons the nations that the weapons are bought from have to provide engineers, specialist etc..

The Chinese missiles are very inaccurate so I doubt they will be used conventionally more likely as a WMD platform or with large cluster warheads (unlikely)

The original assessement for these rockets were to arm them with VX as a deterant against Israeli nukes.

VX? Can you enlight me here? :what1:

Question - if these are Chinese contractors, how reliable are they going to be in a combat situation? also does KSA have any threat perception other than Israel? Seems like any moslem country would think before attacking SA as it has all/ most moslem holy places, right? correct me if I'm wrong

Are you saying the Saudis are going to use ballistic missiles on their own people???? come now...

You were asking are there any other threat perception the Saudi have. The House of Saud does not have absolute control over its people; especially now they have declared war on al Qeida and by extension, the Wahhabis.

Yes, as pertains to Missiles.

Would they use them on their own people? Without a doubt. They still have chop-chop square.

Could they use them on their own people? Like I said, no launch exercise ever.

The U.S. has lethal injection, so they would also use WMD on their people?

Don't change the subject. The House of Saud has no love lost for the Wahabbis.

Wahabbism is a strict sect of "Sunni" islam. The House of Saud has always relied on the support of "Wahabi" clerics. They are inter-twined.

AQ also could be called extreme Wahabbi's (that is extreme sunni muslims).

The fact that House of Saud has turned on AQ doesnt mean that they have turned on "Wahabism".

The House of Saud helps and promotes "Wahabism" around the world by giving aid to sunni muslim groups and those who follow "sunna" strictly that is the actions/preachings of the Prophet.

The Sunni-Shia divide was a political one initially (that is who would lead the Islamic empire- whether the decendants of the prophet or those elected by group of leaders to lead). This later on led to important religious/ritual differences between the two. However the divide has been "overblown" in recent years primarily because of Saddam''s maniac attempt to invade all oil rich nations which began with Iran. This was seen as sunniVsShia.
