China has developed a new type of Phased Array Radar that can detect US F-22 and other stealth fighters.

According to a report on PLA Daily published earlier this month, Several fighters from East China Sea Fleet patrolled around the Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) over the East China Sea after receiving orders that unidentified tracking occurred near the ADIZ on the morning of Feb. 10.

As revealed in 2014, Chinese industry have developed a number of radars claiming stealth detection capabilities. The latest entry is the JY-26 Phased Array Radar.

The capability of the new radar is becoming a critical asset for Beijing, as in the next decade more air forces in Asia Pacific will be equipped with stealth capabilities, these will include new bombers from the USA and Russia, a stealthy fighter plane the Russians are developing with India, an indigenous Korean stealth fighter and F-35s, to be used by the USA, Japan, Australia, and South Korea.

Stealth aircraft never were undetectable. They have (comparatively) low RCS, which makes them difficult to detect. It is more about how soon and at what distance can you detect them.

China also has this beast to detect stealth fighters.........Divine Eagle drone......

The Divine Eagle is a low observable, high altitude UAV meant detect stealth aircraft at long ranges, using special purpose radars.

i dont think the article mentioned the stealth aircraft being undetectable

Thread title:

This implies old type of phased array radar can't

The article reads:
As revealed in 2014, Chinese industry have developed a number of radars claiming stealth detection capabilities. The capability of the new radar is becoming a critical asset for Beijing, as in the next decade more air forces in Asia Pacific will be equipped with stealth capabilities
This again implies Chinese industry makes a number of radars that do not have stealth detection capability, which implies that without the news radars stealth aircraft cannot be detected, which is not true: even older radars can, just a lot later, or with the same rcs as a tweety bird (so how to distinguish from the real tweety?)

stealth is such a strange word.how much detection is considered as stealth?[1] this article is written strangly

[1]:up to the point where you can see them and they can see you

anyway the radars capabilities would be to simply detect a stealth aircraft further than what a standard raar would detect it.

My thoughts exactly

Right. "Stealth" aircraft were never...invisible and pretty much ANY phased array radar can detect them.
