Bangladesh navy was interested in Chinese Type 054A frigate, which is cheaper than French Lafayette. But the Chinese govt. wanted 65% share of CDDL. That's why the deal did not go through.

BNS Sher-E-Bangla has been commissioned.

The Port is managed and controlled by the Navy and its staff. The Chairman of the Port, as can be seen, is deputed by the Navy.

Probably from Huawei, ZTE or maybe even western vendors.

Bangladesh is no longer a country who shop for bottom of the barrel products.

Govt. organizations know top line vendors and will usually choose the best vendor with solid local maintenance and support.

So? That makes it NAVY command and control center? There are also army (on deputation) and civilian stuff in there. Shall we call it joint command center now? Anyway, it's built by Bangladeshi IT firm not Huawei, ZTE or western vendors.
