Photo shows a long underground corridor that connects several buildings in Shanghai's Lujiazui district, an important financial district in Shanghai. The decorations and lighting of the corridor create a dreamlike atmosphere. (Photo/people.cn)

Just curious, how deep underground are these corridors?

Good news to people working in Lujiazui, like myself! We already have an above-the-ground pedestrian walk connecting buildings (including SWFC where I work, see the leftmost building in the pic below? That's SWFC) with LJZ Central Park and LJZ Metro station, this underground is a good addition!

These corridors and subway stations are integrated as one.
The departure floor of subway is also the underground floor of those 400m+ financial buildings and shopping malls.

These are actually quite normal in China's top50 cities.
The new normal, for the crazy Chinese middle-class.
