A small village in westernmost tip of Chinese Pamir bordering 3 countries, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikstan

This is a extremely unique small village in the Chinese Pamir region, the westernmost tip of China. This tiny village is at the foot of snow mountains surrounding it from 3 sides, over this mountain on each side is one foreign country, from left hand to right hand, there are Pakistan, Afghanistn and Tajikstan.

This village was built by the government and given the local Tajiks for free. all the constructions are almost completed some finishing touches need to be made here and there though.

The village has pretty good supporting facilities, every house has a charging station so people can swipe their cards to charge their cars and motorbikes with great convenience.

I tell you those small Chinese villagers are heaven compare to other side of the border...

Free beautiful concrete housing for minority in China borders? And we have idiots claim Chinese Han oppress minority in China..

The Han Chinese interview who decide to settle there even need to fork out their own money just to get a house there.

A not very high snow mountain creates two different worlds on the two sides, think about what's going on just kilometers away over the mountain in Afghanistan.

In the video it's said that those two storey houses were built on the very spots where their old houses stood. Those demolished old stone and mud houses were all badly damaged by numerous earthquakes in that region and the government tore them down to make room for these new earthquake resistant houses, and I guess this is what western media reported " destroying Xinjiang locals traditional homes and livelihood."
