Not even close. Ada class is based on Spanish corvette design, same one Venezuela bought. It's very different from Mogami which is a much bigger ship, more than twice the displacement.

Turkey is helping Pakistan design an original frigate as a follow-on to the PN MILGEM corvette. If the PN MILGEM corvette is nearly 3,000 tons, it stands to reason that the Jinnah-class frigate will be larger.

I would wager 5,000+ tons with, at minimum, a 32-cell VLS.

Pakistan cannot afford 5,000 ton frigate. Pakistan doe snot have the economy for that. Hell, even Russia can barely afford that.

Japan also has a AAW destroyer under FMF program.

Pakistan can look into the AAW . Some key features of 30FFM
~Circular CIC
~Low crew of 90
~One of the stealthiest designs
~FCT EOT also incorporated into stealthy design.
FMF AAW
With a displacement between 7,000 and 8,500 tons, this vessel can be considered as a Guided Missile Destroyer (DDG). It has a length of 145 to 160 meters, a breadth of 18 meters and a maximum speed of 30 knots.
It features 64 VLS cells forward for surface-to-air missiles and an additional 16x VLS cells aft, for a future vertically launched surface to surface missile. In comparison, the FFM frigate currently being built for the JMSDF has 16x VLS cells and 8x anti-ship missiles in a 2×4 topside launcher. Instead of the SeaRAM launcher fitted on the frigate, the destroyer features a future laser weapon system. The sensor suite and main gun (Mark 45 by BAE Systems) remain unchanged.
This design is fitted with MHI’s Advanced Integrated CIC, which was unveiled during Sea Air Space 2019.

This looks nice indeed. 8 of these coming to Indonesia later? Can't wait.
