Thank you. I definitely will. If you open the Bajaur article, you will see a pic in which Gen. Tariq is standing with his Bde Comd (Abid Mumtaz), CO (Nauman) & troops. It tells you about his magnificent leadership qualities. Giving a lecture to his soldiers & officers right behind the enemy...

The first one is on Bajaur. 2nd one on offensive in Dir.
If you read the article on Bajaur again, it was written by me with great input from Gen. Tariq Khan. I then also wrote it on Dir. Next one will be on Buner: Where Gen. Tariq Khan and his troops landed behind the enemy lines in Daggar.
Just recently, a former Colonel’s upcoming book on Frontier Corps was blocked by the Intel. They refused to give the clearance till COAS intervened in the matter.
Absolutely. The current brass cannot even be compared with the unstoppable Tariq Khan. And on his upcoming book, you are absolutely right, too. As for RS fan kids, you must ignore them. No one can alter the truth. These people are actually the outcome of Asim Bajwa’s manufactured stories.
I am certainly sure you do not know me. Watching news on TV and telling me who was up and who was down? Do you even know that Raheel was not even in the final list recommended by the Army? Raheel was taken out. He was only chosen because of the likes of another mediocre officer turned politician...
Shuja Nawaz book launch in Pakistan cancelled by the military. This is a bad move. The author also stated in the book that the only deserving General to become COAS was Lt. Gen. Tariq Khan, but nothing could be done. The then Govt. chose a mediocre officer like Raheel Sharif.
Most importantly...
No need to argue. The post is related to a new book written by Shuja Nawaz. Few years ago, he wrote: Learning By Doing, which was published by the Atlantic Council. Anyone who is interested to know about military operations in ex-FATA, must know that the actual operations began from 2008, when a...
Shuja Nawaz, brother of former COAS, late Gen. Asif Nawaz, has come up with another masterpiece: The Battle for Pakistan.
The author, Shuja Nawaz, has explained the turbulent U.S.-Pakistan relationship from a fresh new perspective. He has also extensively covered the period from 2008 onwards...
A relative of mine in 6 Armoured Div is still serving and has served previously under Gen Tariq Khan. I met Gen Tariq almost 4 months ago in D.I Khan. After all, we are entitled to our own opinions but to good to know that you met one of the best Generals to brace our Army.
So you are right and the man who is known as the Tank Commander (Gen Tariq Khan) is wrong ? The best that we have is T-80UD. Tariq Khan has the authority and you cannot deny that. Anyways, good luck.
Operation in Khyber was also conducted during Gen Kayani's time and the area was cleared till some "Genius" gave the area back to Mangal Bagh. This is why operation in Khyber again took place but then again Army had to withdraw from their checkposts in Khyber. Now they won't. This is one of the...
