Exactly, as I have mentioned in my post, these ideas are alien to Pakistani society. However, these things do pop up in intellectual debates. This Fitnah of Secular ethnic nationalism is expanding and we need to focus our attentions towards it. Your comments are very encouraging, thanks.

Do people debate it in universities there sometimes or it is purely online debates?

These things do come up in university class rooms and other debating forums. Our bureaucracy is specially influenced by this ideology.

Guitar player, singer, dancer, Marxist, pro - Qadiyanis and a secularist. He is a professor of Political science in LUMS. The worrying thing is our intelligentsia is becoming more and more secular. It will obviously have a trickle down effect.

When you don't keep these types of people in check then they grow and grow. Individuals with messed up beliefs should never get in a position of influence especially like that of a professor who will teach thousands of students in his life time. In long term, if they stray from Islam then it'll just be their own loss but it is worrying when people who rule the country become more and more secular.
