Sorry, I never opened my profile, so I didn't notice your post. Well, I learnt a bit about Chinese, but still not reach conversation level. Plus, in Indonesia, we had a time when learning Hua Yi was prohibited. So there are a lot of my generation that don't speak Chinese. Specially from Java island.

That's why I never give a fcuk about Xinjiang issue. There are discrimination against Chinese ethnic in Indonesia and Malay, nobody mentioned it at all.

Well, Xinjiang is basically Chinese too, although they're not Han. I have a question, if we said Hua Ren, is it Han people or all Chinese, including Tibetan and Uyghur?

In theory, Hua Ren is Chinese which include all ethnics. But in reality, Hua Ren related to ethnic Chinese who adopted Chinese mainstream culture, or descendant of those who adopted Chinese mainstream culture. Just my personal opinion.
