if by n/ws you mean networks then yes, i am cisco engineer

ohh yeah n/w and cisco engineers are common in Aussie. I was expecting that to come up.

not as common as you think, my company had to import engineers because they couldn't find any good ones here. They got two from England and one from South Africa.

That would be a exception then, Indian students and Indian engineers mostly go down the networks line, some aussies too apart from other nationalities. Pakistanis not that much upto 8-10 years ago but now yes the numbers have increased.

I am the only one from Pak in my company of 700 people. We have an office in India as well, the problem is that there are alot of people at junior level, but not many seniors or people with multiple skills.

don't know who that is, and i don't actually work for cisco and i am not trying to show off either, I was actually agreeing with you that most Pakistanis don't go for networking side.
