To be really honest to an educated mind culture looks a bit bizarre for example the customs that we Hindus do after death very wired i don't even feel if any of it makes sense we just do it coz we are told to. (This is just my opinion not trying to offend anybody)

I have nothing against any forms of practices but I am just trying to give u the other side of the story. This is only a matter of court case that didn't go in favor of Tamil people and PETA won the case.

This should only be seen as that. Blaming the union government solves nothing instead the state government should have stood up and fought the case from its side.

People are just using a simple case to divide people a case in the supreme court should be seen as a case and should be fought within the system.

I was speaking to Tamil friends and they too told me that in some places bulls that lost are shot at as it becomes a prestige issue for some village heads.

There were incidents of agitating the bulls by use of chilly powder, alcohol etc.

I agree that this dosent happen every where but PETA had evidence and in the court only evidence wins.

Tamilnadu government should take more steps and regulate the game that would be the right way forward but we Indians and our chaltha hai attitude will result in only such situations.
