Can the IAF Follow the Footprints of the PAF’s Glory?

IAF are a pampered lot, I doubt they will touch old hand me downs and second hand rust buckets with a barge pole..I don't remember IAF ever buying any scrapped planes.

The so called worlds largest fourth air force, the only time it performed was in Kargil, only because there was no air opposition , it carried out missions within it's own territory in an area well known to Indian ground forces and even to do that it needed and received assistance from US and Israel.... despite tall claims and introducing fancy terminologies , it failed to show up both in 2002 and 2008.....and to add insult to injury, it goes on national TV chest thumping on an exercise only to be ridiculed by the other side.

Nice bubble you exist in...I hope PAF brass are not so stupid.

So The Author Praises PAF And He Suddenly Becomes 'Anti National' Right:disagree::disagree::lol::lol:

You should carefully read what I've quoted while criticizing him.

thats the impression I got... some of his points are valid though especially about IAF asking for shiny toys...

There's nothing wrong in what the IAF is doing. Change Rafale orders to MKI even if the cost is more and see how his tune changes.

IAF's second set of aircraft purchase has been delayed for 20 years. The Rafale is meant to fix that.

He ie Bharat Karnad is firmly in the Russian camp and lobby

He does nt want Rafale ; he wanted MIG 35

If those Mig-35s came at $500M each, he will sing its praises.

I would never wish IAF gets anywhere near the "glory" that PAF got... I would never wish IAF chief "gloriously" saying "it is your problem big boy".. neither we need the glory of watching drones bomb our civilians.. let all the glory be with PAF and let IAF protect the honor of the our nation..
