Give up the rifles and TOW missiles to the Syrian authority and ask Syrian police and army to take care of the security. That's how they suppose to keep their family and children safe not work as proxy for Turkey.

Also I just saw this in Danish newspaper. Civil pilot bekræfter: Jeg hørte Tyrkiets advarsler - Briefing

Anonymous Lebanese Pilot from Middle East Airlines who at the time flew in the area heard the warning and managed to record the final warnings because he feared the situation was escalating after so many warnings.

We WILL shoot down any plane that constantly violated out airspace. Without hesitation and remorse.

Friend...but shooting down Russian place will escalate the already messed up middle east...Why do you want to get involved in a lost cause of that region..That is place is already in a shit where every one fighting with each other.Its very confusing to understand who stands which sides...Turkey is a responsible and good nation...I think it is good for you to stay out of these unnecessary war...

What you have said makes sense in theory. However the reality is much more different. Imagine this. Ukraine invites Turkey to help take out Russian rebels. And in doing so, Turkish air force is bombing rebel targets right at the Russian border with multiple incursions into Russian airspace. How would Russians react?

We didn't invite the Russian warplane over for a cup of tea and baklava only to down it as it was leaving. Russia kept violating our airspace, we kept warning and appealing to them to stop it. They should not have tested our patience, Turkey is not a country like Georgia that Vladdy can push around whenever he wants. Mutual respect will prevent further bloodshed.
