A legal notice was served on the authorities of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) requesting them to file an appeal with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for punishing the umpires for their wrong decisions in quarter-final between Bangladesh and India on March 19.

Supreme Court lawyer Eunus Ali Akond sent the legal notice to the team manager of the BCB, its president and secretary to the sports ministry, asking them to submit the appeal within 24 hours.

He also asked BCB to seek adequate compensation of money as double as the values of the ICC World Gold Cup 2015 and goodwill to Bangladesh.

The SC lawyer said that the umpires Ian Gould and Aleem Dar had given three wrong decisions regarding dismissals of Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad and no ball call of Rubel Hossain during the cricket match in the quarter-final between Bangladesh and India in Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.

“Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah were not actually out and Rubel Hossain’s delivery to the Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma was not actually a no-ball,” he said.

He added, “ICC authorities rescheduled the match on March 19 from March 21. The cricket match was supposed to be held in Wellington venue in New Zealand, but the match was held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.”

Eunus Ali told The Daily Star that he will file a writ petition with the High Court seeking necessary order on the BCB authorities if they do not appeal to the ICC authorities.

Ok rohit was on 90 when he was int given out. 137-90 = 47. So indias total 262. Acha bangladesh quota so -10 more. Chalao yaar *230 pakad lo. Tabhi b 193 all out. Wtf !

Dear Bangladeshi Fans,

Make your self familiar with the rules of cricket. A ball pitched outside leg cannot be given lbw, so Raina was not out, if you still think he was out then you need to get familiar with the rules of cricket.Secondly, Mahmadullah was out there is absolutely no evidence that Dhawan's foottouched the rope. Prove it with visual evidence instead of your emotional whims.Kayes was out in the first over, Raina and Dhawan appealed for it and still the umpire didn't give him out. Because he must have not heard the sound, and if you guys say that players didn't appeal then According to the rules even if a single player appeals umpire can give the player out.Bangladesh qualified for the quarterfinals with the same kind of dismissal against England's Chris Jordan, I guess that time you didn't have any problem because it was in favour of Bangladesh. So firstly Bangladesh wouldn't have qualified for thequarters if the so called rubbish umpires hadn't given Jordan out. Don't try to soundlike a victim when in reality every Cricket team suffers a decision against them, I guess this is your first time so its hard for you guys to digest.Even if rohit would have been given out, we still would have scored atleast 280 which was enough against Bangladesh because the match was played in MCG which is a big ground and not in New Zealand where mis-hits will go for six. So quit making excuses.Your captain Mortaza is trying to sound like a victim so that people dont blame him for the loss. He is deflecting Bangladesh's poor performance by blaming it on the umpires.Also the last time when Bangladesh lost to Pakistan in Asia cup there were similar reactions. Bangladesh fans blamed Pakistan of fixing the game. This shows that Bangladeshi people are not mentally prepared to accept defeat. Don't create an image of Sore losers. Your team made your country proud, Accept the defeat and move on moron. ..

The Indian cheaters robbed us off a world cup, we would have easily thrashed the Kiwis in the final.

OM MY GOD this is a Guinnees World Record for the longest Winning and Crying and it goes to Bangladesh

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
Bangladesh is not trying to reverse the result of that match,there is no point to do that. Bangladesh is only trying to ensure that no other team in the future become victim of Indian corruption and match manipulation.What India did was crime and no crime should go unpunished,Otherwise Indian will be embolden to do that over and over again.Suppose If any murderer,rapist or corrupt official evade punishment on the ground that what happened could not reversed,then what will be the situation on that society or country?

Do you Pakistani fan want Pakistani cricket team to become victim of Indian corruption in the future? If not then why you ridiculing Bangladesh for standing up to India?Should not all other team join hand and make sure that those event don't happen again?It astonish me that you Pakistani actually defending India and mocking Bangladeshi effort when that may happen to you too. Think about that.

BD should stop this

I think they are not mature enough for this game and we give them status much before then their maturity. It is time ICC should reconsider their status.
