well this system has its own advantages and disadvantages compared to those systems made by thales :

1- it has 4 cams with wide lenses to incorporate and cover a very very vast area (its designed for ground use - it needs to cover a much vaster area )

2- its range is much longer than those systems

disadvantage : it does not incorporate IR cams while MK2 does .

this one is fixed in the next gen. of electro-optical systems by iran which will have ranges more than 80kms .

I hate to see long side-burn on the soldiers. Why these soldiers are sporting long side burns?
