I wish it happens bro.I'm stating the possibility.a new nation with civil war going,corrupt politicians with less control over a powerful army generally faces this kind of challenge.its kind of deadlock situation here.Afghanistan needs a powerful ANA to face threats against it.it also needs a powerful,transparent,self sufficient and strong govt,which it lacks.hope new govt will be more powerful and less corrupt than the present one.

Do you even know what attrition is, it has nothing to do with terrorist incidents on our side of the border, it has to do with the desertion of the ANA by Afghan recruits, now tell me how they are related, consult a dictionary before quoting me next time.....

what do you mean ''we're'' you are not a regional actor and dont have any common border, culture or history with the country, dont try and declare you relevance where it is not required or present for that matter, all you can do is provide a few million dollars (thats peanuts by international standards) and a some rounds of ammunition and thats it....

Attrition could be used for multiple cases,relating environment,hostile recruits to fierce enemy.stop bragging about your "tiny brain" and start studying.also,their is no difference between their "Hostile Recruits" and "Insider Attacks" with yours "Bomb Attacks" and "Suicide Attacks".in both cases,soldiers die.

are you totally void of any knowledge regarding this??in 1990,SU collapsed.AF relied on SU for massive Financial Aid.as Aid stopped coming,AF govt collapsed as well.stop giving so much credit to "Mujahids".if they were so potent factor,they could launch offensive and march into Kabul after SU left.but they couldn't.and its not assumption,its bare facts and much discussed.

And why exactly did the Union collapse, I am guessing that its collapse was random or anything, it collapsed as a result of a drawn out war, that caused undue economic resources being allotted to the Afghan war and ultimately the economy was in such bad shape that there was no alternative but to pack up and go home, and unlike you I dont fart out unsourced pieces of information to act like a history buff, read up on ''the great gamble'' but I doubt a dyslexic yahoo like you is going to stick around long enough to read an entire book....

Pakistanis and their "Afghan war glory"...SU lost 20 million people and faced unlimited amount of destruction in WW II,yet they survived.and they lost merely few hundreds tanks/aircrafts and around 15000 soldiers and they collapsed.what a logic.

we donated 2 billions dollars to Afghanistan.first,do that.then we'll talk.but then again,Pakistan is on the receiver's end of donation than Donors.

by the way,India invested over 10.2 billion dollars(upto 2012,by now its well near 13-14 billion) in Afghanistan while 2 Billion dollars is donated.it just shows our level of confidence on their stability.while Pakistanis will dream about "Taliban control over Afghanistan",I fear,they'll lose their own country in the hand of TTP and other rebels.we'll,frankly speaking,you guys should implement a Taliban govt first before cheering one in Afghanistan.
