In my humble opinion, India will become what she wants only when your armed forces will be directly controlled by your cooperate sector, same USA or East India company model.

Beautiful as the trees are, they should not be so close to the roadway as they create a hazard for traffic.

These trees give shelter to those pedestrians passing by and i believe this is not a heavy traffic road.Cutting trees depends on traffic and priority.Indian government has set itself a target of construct and upgrade 30 km of highway per day (11,000 km per year).

save the green land from concrete structure. Green land is the future.

Agree. India is the world's largest cultivated land area and almost 22% of land area are covered by forest.

For the traffic condition of that rural road, I think it is fine. I remember from childhood days cycling from one place to another without ever feeling the heat of the summer sun. Those treelines (which were mostly Tamarind and Neem in my place) stretched literally hundreds of kilometers without breaking the shade (almost). They also provided vital corridors for wildlife to move from one place to another. But it is rare to see such tree lines now.

Sad to see them cut in the name of development. I am sure we are losing more than just the tree lines.

What I like is that unlike last centuries superpowers, India does'nt blow on the 'biggest-largest-tallest' horn like the Soviets, Americans and later Chinese did. India does it factually, naturally and organically.
