A Germany-based renewable energy company plans to invest more than 100 million euros and set up the first solar panel manufacturing facility in Pakistan. The CAE company plans to start manufacturing solar panels by end of the year.

According to Shahzada Khurram, the only Pakistani director of the company, the country is going through “one of the worst energy crises, and it is time to think about renewable energy as a way to make good money in the sector.”

They already have distribution in Pakistan

Maybe now they are thinking about next step due to high potential future demand.

Any body knows in what city MAN will establish the assembly plant if not in Gawader?.

Regardless whether the news is true or not...CPEC is a framework not only just infrastructure.

With improving security, more and more manufacturing will turn up in PK.

Not just the Chinese companies but from Europe, JP and SK as well.

These companies can enjoy the local PK market plus export to ME and africa.

The culture of corruption might be holding your good country back but the potential for economic growth and ROI for investors is bigger.

Improved security for CPEC will be beneficial on so many fronts.

With improved and stable economy you can spend on education and health in a much bigger way.

OF course your defence too.

All the best.

German auto manufacturers have been wanting to invest in Pakistan for a while. Audi wants to setup a manufacturing plant there, BMW wants to sell cars there (the 1.6 liter ones), Renault wants to establish a plant and Ford and GM will do some investments too.

There are 220 million people with a growing economy, the Bloomberg, as one example, has been showing plenty of interviews and commercials on investing in Pakistan. How could the investors ignore the top 3rd profit generating emerging market, that has produced stock profits above India and China?
