FC-31 is low quality?? Why would you say that? It's different from F35 in a lot of ways.

New wars will be fought with stealth. It's all about stealth these days.
Yes, its low quality, I wouldn't trust anything that is supposed to be "High tech" and made in China.

That low quality stuff will be superior to any non stealth jet which ME countries will be operating.
Nope, we have no idea on its turning capability or its radar and heat signature.

US not to sell F-35 fighter jets to Arab countries: Report Published May 6, 2016 SOURCE: PRESS TV The US has given Israel categorical assurances that it will not deliver F-35 stealth multirole fighter jets to Arab states to beef up their aerial power, a report says.According to the Hebrew-language daily Maariv, Washington had confirmed to Tel Aviv that this type of aircraft “will be exclusively allocated for Israel in the Middle East.” The newspaper further said Israeli authorities are wary of the fact the sale of F-35 military aircraft to Arab countries would chip away at the “technological superiority of Israel in the region.” There are reports that Washington is mulling the sale of fifth-generation F-35 aircraft to Qatar and Kuwait. US military officials have already announced that they will maintain a quality gap in favor of Israel in such a case. The Hebrew-language newspaper Yisrael Hume reported recently that the Israeli Air Force is due to receive the first the first batch of F-35 fighter jets at the end of the current year. It will receive a further seven warplanes next year. An airbase is going to be constructed in Israel’s southern desert region of Negev for the new aircraft. US military aid to Israel stalled: Report Officials, meanwhile, say negotiations meant to enshrine US military aid for Israel over the next decade have snagged on disputes about the size, scope and fine print of a new multibillion-dollar package. Israel is trying to garner $10 billion more than the current 10-year package, and billions more than the US administration is currently offering through guaranteed funding for missile projects. US President Barack Obama, however, wants the funds to be spent entirely on US-made weapons, and not spent even partly on Israeli arms, several US and Israeli officials told Reuters. Under the current agreement signed in 2007 and due to expire in 2018, Israel has received a total sum of about $30 billion or an average of $3 billion per annum from the US. The current deal allows Israel to spend 26.3 percent of US funds on its own military industries. Washington is seeking to phase out this provision, and ensure that all of the money is spent on US-built munitions. Tel Aviv says such a measure would give a devastating blow to its arms firms, which make some $800 million a year. The United States also wants to put an end to a provision which allows Israel to spend around $400 million in annual funds on military fuels. Israel has long been a major recipient of US aid, most in the form of military assistance. Tel Aviv also wants the US administration to support missile defense projects that have so far relied on ad hoc assistance by the U.S. Congress. The Obama administration has reportedly balked at Israel’s request to stipulate a separate funding track in the military deal for missile projects. In recent years, US legislators have given up to $600 million to Israel in the form of annual discretionary funds for missile systems. The figure is four-fold the $150 million requested by the Obama administration.

I highly doubt this news...Arabs have money and US defence industry really look for buyer for such high end jets...

Basically you can built it as you want and pay, that is not with F-35. Russia lacks funds and if funded they can also built good 5th gen customizes as per ME countries requirements. There is a reason India working with them.

Advanced stealth jets (With more Jammers, good avionics and such) cannot cost as cheaply as the PAK FA is, I doubt it.
the F35 comes with all of them and its very simple, like using an iPad (not flying of course)

Still commendable effort from a country that does not live on Aids
you mean Aids as for the illness or aid as for support?

You must remember that cost of construction, wages are much higher in west then east, ask Indians why they are working with Russia instead of US? While they are purchasing high end systems from US.

Their domestic ws-10a engine is doing pretty good and already in mass production, The F35 engineers made some poor choices like lift fan and single engine,While j-31 is twin engine design. The F35 and J31 are very different from each other just like al-31f and wd-10a ,The petals on ws-10a are smaller. You are entitled to your opinion but we have tested chinese tech.

NO I mean aif for developmenT arms package that Isreal has signed with US for the next ten years and for the develpment of david sling
You think that China does it alone? or Russia? David's Sling is already superior than any other SAM.
Point is to make the best, and not alone.

That's a point, but still not enough, I am talking about the price of the avionics and other parts themselves. not their construction.
the Indians actually do work with Israel, we are a western country. Israel is the 2nd biggest weapon exporter to India.

Many potential F-35 buyer are reducing their number in this scenario to sustain the F-35 program at the end thy might force to sell at least a downgraded F-35 for the Arabs. if India join F-35 program thing can changed dramatically .

An Israeli company makes the special 360 degree helmet. They may have to ship without them.

EU companies will love to have share of big 5th gen fighter jet market in future by joining any project offered (like TFX). So airframe cane be developed with Russia or China or Russia + western MNC(s) while others systems can be developed with European companies which do good business with ME counties. No one will like to lose big money share when right opportunity is there.

wait for KFX/IFX coming

2019 is the time for maiden flight according to recent plan.

Fighter plane development is an ecosystem and we have learnt that the hard way, countries who haven't developed a 3rd gen or a 4th gen plane let alone a trainer aircraft, developing a 5th gen fighter..?

I highly doubt you will have any serious prospects from serious countries for the kfx / ifx program solely going by past capability of not developing a single worthy aircraft.
