Magic of MIG-35 Fighter

"A helicopter can stay still mid-air. But a fighter plane? No way. The laws of physics and jet propulsion don?t allow that.

Russian engineers have achieved just that. They are offering the plane to India, which is looking for 126 multi-role fighters like the US F-16 and F-18, the French Mirage-2000-V and Swedish Gripen.

Mod: Link dont work. But thread is open for discussion.

Its an upgrade of Mig 29 with thrust vectoring capabilities !!

Like Arjun said, the plane is pretty much new, and all we have is a news that too is not credible. The question is if the plane is developed, or are they planning to develop it.

Most of specifications will be of Mig-29s of course, but there will be some major changes as far as thurst vectoring goes, which is the information we donot have.

Mig 1.44 was a technology demonstrator. It lost in the competition thus it will not be produced.

Same goes with american planes. F-20 never succeded, but F-22 did. F-18 proved to be one of the best aircrafts served in USN. Now they are building more F-18s and it will have most latest technology to defeat Russian planes.

it will be good for iaf already operates 65 mig29 and navy will get 40 mig29 and will start arriving this year in thier goa airbase . not a problem to induct new mig35 just needs 60hours of flying for standard mig29 pilot

Mig-35 is bacisally a Mig-29 on steriods. With morden avionces and engines.Even though mounverabilty does'nt mean much in today's combat. This is a very dangerous plane if you use it correctly. :)

mounverabilty does play a role in todays world , bvr are only effective when your in quiet a distance but in close combat , mounverabilty of the plane can win you a war , if that was the case short range missiles (4 to 9 km) range could have been thrown out , and pls donot use non milatary language as steriods
