^^^ Not needed cut the crap

Don't you guys feel bad for getting, and not buying. I as an Indian would feel very ashamed if Indian Govt. was to take any such list to the US, and asking them to "give" us things. Really, a lot.

I wouldn't cause many of US allies who are in strategic locations do the same what Pakistan has done such as Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

By giving them US weaponry, US makes sure that they become US weapon customers and thus any future purchases will be with US weaponry and thus creating more business for US defense firms.

Pakistan's military is very obsolete and needs to be massively modernized and thus we are asking our US allies to assist us in this regard.

Nothing wrong with that. :pakistan::usflag:

P.S.: No offence BTW.

I know its hurting that you have to PAY for the equipment the other party is getting for free. If I were an Indian, I would feel it as a heart ache if you have to buy weapons from a party that is providing equipment free to your so called 'enemies.'

And NO there is noting to be ashamed of or feel bad as these are the things that are needed to fight this damn war for our 'strategic' allies! We are fighting a war for them, so we'll ask for what ever help and assistance we need to help us in this fight! US is not doing us a favour, but they have to help us if they want us to be more efficient in our operations.

PS: No offence BTW!

the wish list of pakistan in my opinoin 75 percent is useless becoz 70 percent of weapon which we asked to USA are already we have nothing new other than JDAMS , AMRAAM, and Oliver class frigate not going to enhance our military we should have asked them for Apaches,Strykers APCS

I totally agree with both the comments...Free or Paid it do not make a difference because when these weapons will fire in anger their result will not differ based on wheather GOP paid for them or not...

Now understand one thing here...GOP has to deal with an adversary as big as India...A country whose economy is booming and if one go by projections will keep on growing at same pace for almost 2 decades...A country who is modernizing her defence capabilities at a brisk pace(atleast from PAk POV) and has almost all the vendors in the world lining to sell state of art weapons... Long story short Pak desperately needs such offensive weapons to keep healthy deterance capabilities...Also if you look at the bigger picture don't you think bomb on every corner is much bigger price that they have paid for all these weapons????? Keeping my Indian bias at a corner Pakistan deserves such help from US....Mind it i by no means have changed my stand that it is Pakistan who is responsible for the mess she is in(terrorist as strategic assets) yet can we ignore the fact that their so-called assets truned agasint them only because they joined US war on terror???

Lets see how GOI will react to this development...In the end its all diplomacy guys though sadly benefits always goes to western world...

This is AzadPakistan List for Obi One knobi

Nuclear Deal :taz: on the plate got it (For our economy)

80 Super cobras / 40 Apaches (What we need)
10 Globemasters (What we need)
350 Humvee for soliders special ops (What we need)
20 UAV Preditor drones (What we need)
50 Paladin class howitzers (What we need)
20 Heavy lift Chinooks (What we need)
10 A10 Hogs with cannons (Just cuz they have cannons on board)
5 F-35
1 Sentry Awacs

35 billion dollar for our economy - and water projects (pending bill) this is not even a aid or donation its the cost of losses to our economy

I think drones and attack helicopters will be delivered from the list including some bombs and military radios.

Items like frigates, maritime helicopters , anti ship missiles wont be given since there are no fight registered against Taliban in seas .

And no air to air missiles, sidewinders etc , since US knows taliban is yet to have an air force of their own.

And much equipment deliveries depend on the economy with a recession affected industry and huge political pressure (inside and outside).

A good factor for Pakistan is that US will surely help because this can create a trend where adjoining countries can also kill some rogue elements from al-queda etc and ask for freebies and money for the job.

Christmas .. is it ?

nope its Halloween.
