Nawaz, Modi to sign 5 agreements on sideline of SCO Summit
July 09, 2015, 1:58 pm
UFA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif are expected to meet on Friday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Ufa. The leaders are likely to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

At least 5 agreements are expected to be signed between the two leaders. These include Indian and Pakistani banks to be set up in each other's countries. Three year multiple entry visas is also likely to be given to Pakistan businessmen. Multiple entry visas is also likely to be given to bus travelers on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route and Delhi-Lahore route..

Modi and Sharif had last met in Kathmandu in November at the SAARC Summit where they did not, however, hold any bilateral meeting.

Earlier at the beginning of the holy month of Ramzan, the Prime Minister had called Sharif and extended his best wishes while stressing the need for having peaceful and bilateral ties.

During his telephonic conversation, Modi had also conveyed to his Pakistani counterpart India's decision to release detained Pakistani fishermen on the occasion of Ramzan.

The call was seen by many as an attempt to reach out to Pakistan after leaders from both sides exchanged sharp comments after Modi's critical remarks about Pakistan during his Bangladesh visit and in the wake of India's military action in Myanmar.

Modi has ill intentions towards Pakistan.. you cannot expect positivity from such a chap. If Modi is saying "ram ram", expect him keeping a dagger under his armpit.

Well first of all we should appritiate modi call to sharif but we must look tings very closely

And Nawaz is dreaming of a prosperous India.

Prosperous India is indeed better than rottening India. I don't have second opinion on that but its the offensive and untrustworthy trait of its leadership which is a matter of concern. Modi and his few lafanter act as if they are in their 16s and want to bash around like a mad Elephants.

Nawaz has investment in India, obviously he want to setup banking system , so can easily transfer money right and left. Empire in building, rest stay in hunger. Its Mian Mansha brain child and he will be major beneficiary in Pakistan. You guys will notice MCB will open branches in India.

If you try to think for a minute, you will realize that the relations are improving under Mr Modi. He was the one to break the ice between the two countries by inviting Nawaz for his swearing in ceremony. And if you keep pushing terrorists into India and expect relations to improve, you are mistaken.

There were no significant engagements in recent times....... How come there are 5 agreements ready to be signed???

Nope , no permission yet. Will be problem, because Nawaz right hand Mian Mansha bank hasn't got approval . So, he will play some dirty game . Only NBL and HBL got permission by Pakistani business groups.
