Pakistani as far as I can tell.

Not saying that you or others are lying when you provide anecdotal accounts of Pakistanis pretending to be Indian, but I have yet to come across a Pakistani in the US pretending to be an Indian. In fact, using my own example, I tend to get pedantic and even clarify that my cooking (on social occasions involving new guests) is Pakistani, not Indian, though I will accept that there are extremely strong similarities between the two, especially with North Indian cuisine.

I' ve never ever saw any Pakistani pretending to be Indian. Conduct an experiment and try to call a Pakistani, "Indian".

States can exercise rights of interdiction in the 200 nm EEZ in respect of its sovereign rights and jurisdiction (Art 56 UNCLOS).

wrong again.. Interdiction on high seas apply to cargo en route to a war zone,and that type of interdiction is not limited to EEZ,can be done anywhere due to a war,
Checking Pakistani vessels like this is equivalent to a Naval blockade and an act of war,if you want to go by the laws.
Extended interdiction has to be agreed between nations or approved by UN under special circumstances as it happened during Iraq war...or Australian illegal migration check. Or special Migrant check on Ships and boats in the Mediterranean.

If the boat was carrying military-grade explosives why wasn't it blown to bits by this point? I wonder if the explosives on board were low-grade and meant for fishing. Maybe this wasn't anything to do with terror at all.

Isn't sethi the same guy who took up arms against Pakistan in 70's. Why was he not executed?
Same with Hamid Mir family who spread massive propaganda against Pakistan during that 71 Bangladesh episode. His father did that and now this Hamid Mir is following his father.
These people like sethi, mir, asma jehangir, etc must be exiled from Pakistan.
