Kaan Has a Point there with Islam

-Peace At home Peace At the world

You just need the right kind of nationalism, that kind of nationalism that puts Turks (and by Turks I mean all the citizens and ethnics of Turkey) first. I dont consider myself overly nationalistic in fact I cant stand most MHP voters but a certain degree of nationalism is okay.

Somebody should explain the Iron Dome System to Erdogan.

Of course you're muslim before anything. That's because the whole basis for the creation of Pakistan was Islam and you don't have anything else. Unlike your kind, other people actually have other things to be proud of except Islam.
The Persians are Persians before anything else, Turks are Turks ect.

You might think your love for Islam is something purely religiously motivated, no it's not, it's because without Islam you lack an identity. That's why you Pakistanis cling on to Islam so strongly
good for you lol… being a pakistani isn't going to do nothing for me…
just like being a turk or a persian does nothing for you… it doesn't help you in anyway what so ever…
you won't become more successful just because your a turk or persian first…i hope you know that…
we pakistanis have our own identities… but we put them aside to unite as muslims.. we are sindhis, balochis, punjabis and pathans and many many more…. we are a diverse country unlike yours…

Foot in mouth once again.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday slammed Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as an “illegitimate tyrant” and said Cairo could not be relied upon to negotiate a truce with Israel.

"Is Sisi a party (to a ceasefire)? Sisi is a tyrant himself," Erdogan was quoted by the AFP news agency as having told reporters.

"He is not different from the others," he said, adding that it was Egypt's current rulers who were blocking humanitarian aid channels to Gaza.

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri responded and said Erdogan's comments were "unacceptable".

"They have no link with the events in Gaza and do not help in the protection of the people of Gaza," Shoukri said at a news conference in Cairo with his Italian counterpart Federica Mogherini.

Erdogan should rather push all the concerned parties for a ceasefire in Gaza, said Shoukri.

Erdogan, who portrays himself as the global Muslim leader who speaks up for Palestinian Arab rights, said supporting an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire would mean legitimizing the administration in Egypt.

"Egypt is not a party ... They are trying to legitimize (the Sisi administration) in Egypt. It is not a legitimate administration. It is illegitimate," he said, lashing out at Israeli attempts to exclude Hamas.

"Hamas is a party there," declared Erdogan.

Turkey’s relations with Egypt have been strained over the past year, since the ouster of former Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.

Last year, Erdogan condemned the military intervention that toppled Morsi as an enemy of democracy, following which Egypt’s foreign ministrysummoned Turkey’s ambassador to Cairo in protest against “Ankara’s interference in Egyptian affairs.”

Erdogan has also been critical of Israel over its operation in Gaza, and threatened to end the normalization process with Israel over "state terrorism."

On Thursday, Erdogan accused Israel of attempting a "systematic genocide" of Palestinian Arabs in Gaza.

In response, Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz reminded Erdogan of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

Most Turks with average intelligence do not take him serious anymore; He is just trying to hold his voters by using hatred-based perspective. Just as most middle eastern ''leaders'' do, full of words without any single action.

I agree with everything except the part in bold. Cleary a large proportion of the Turkish population takes him serious....
His hate politics are working as everyone saw during his previous runs for office.

''Most Turks with average intelligence''

I think You overlooked the part in bold. I hope it is clear now.

I admit 50% of the Turks still/recently has middle eastern mentality; however, the rest has the modern World perspective, which still keeps us on the edge of the border of those trouble makers Even though Mr.Zero Davutoğlu stubbornly drags us into that mud pool. That is why they are slapped/ humiliating themselves when some problems erupt like The embassy hostages, or syrian shooting of Turkish jet. After all cheap hatefull words are usefull for the crowd, but in realizing they result in a big humiliation for you.

I think the way and the environment you are raised in is more of a factor than being intelligent or not.

I am sure most AKP voters have their own rationalisations in voting for them, be it religious or other aims.:sarcastic:

he cares about turks as well remeber
before tayyip, turkiye was like uganda as economically also it was perfect combination with military and mafia system:partay:
Yeah we Ahiska see much of his love for Turks

Everyone has some kind of nationalism but when Turks do it its evil/anti-islamic or something like that......
