A Brief History of The Warrior Rajputs

Pot calling the kettle black. :o::o:

That is your reputation the forum over. :)

And my probing was intended to show that it isn't the case, at least in India. The Brahmins don't have some special hate against Muslims that's not shared by other castes/communities. But being the ones who follow many elaborate rules and being entrusted with Hinduism's most sacred texts however, also meant that they were under attack more than other groups for their overtly Kaffir ways. But it's certainly not passed down to modern times. Those who converted, did so long back, and today's Brahmin folks aren't any more Anti-Muslim than today's Kshatriya or Vaishya or Shudra.

You may believe such if you wish I have noticed different unfortunately but only amongst North Indians, South Indians are chillest Indians.

My point by point rebuttal:

3)There is no deference as Hind and Sind over IVC .

Provinces with Indus Valley Civilization Sites: Sindh, Rajasthan, Punjab(both East & West), UP, Gujrat, Baluchistan, Haryana, Kashmir, Maharashtra.

4) Vedic civilization was mainly a Gangetic Civilization with all the vedic texts written in the boundary of modern day India.
I again post the list. It is absolutely accurate. Challenge me if you can.

Full of shit, you forget to ad Afghanistan and Iran. Maharashtra? Lets ad Bengal, Bihar and Tamil Nadu as well.

IVC started in Pakistan along Indus and expanded in later phases to North West India. Same with Rig Vedic. Calling it Gangetic Civilization is bs nothing more. Rig Vedic era started 1500 BCE along side Indus river once again. After 500 BCE these people expanded to Ganga and all over India. And gave birth to Ganga Hindusism which hindus follow today.

I did not bother to answer him because I found it funny. These people will find a mud hut in Tamil Nadu and call it an IVC site LOL.

These people will invent fake seals in photoshop, and the result is now no one take them seriously.

Give me source that it was fabricated although I agree that it was just an excuse to conquer.

Only source of that is Chachnama written by Arabs and demonizing him by writing lots of crap.

Persecution is recorded by Buddhist themselves and of course it did not totally disappear under his rule but it declined greatly.

Yes, Pushyamitra Shunga persecuted Buddhist but Buddhism didn't disappear from India it was continued to became popular religion in India and after that there was no major persecution of Buddhists by Hindu king.

That is your reputation the forum over. :).

Haan, KingMamay tu sabse sacha insaan hai.

Just because Arabs wrote it does not mean it is untrue, unless you can provide an alternative account that says something totally different.

No shit it didn't disappear totally but it was largely persecuted in India, most people who write about Buddhism in India say the decline was due to Brahmins targetting Buddhist, read Shashanka who destroyed the Buddhist Bo tree. It did receive patronage under Guptas but it doesn't change the fact that Brahmins were hostile to it and besides it makes sense why Guptas had no problem with Buddhism considering their origins.

I never lie although I have been wrong on occasion and I admit and correct myself unlike you who clings to your same bs thread after thread no matter how many times it is debunked.

Arabs also wrote Raja Dahir married his own sister and there can be nothing bigger bullshit than this since Hindus are extremely strict not to marry in same bloodline and clan. There are loads of bullcrap in Chachnama to malign Raja Dahir and glorify Arabs. In reality, they attacked Sindh to control the vital trade route and after conquest of Sindh they moved eastward but beaten back by triple alliance of Rajputs, Gurjar-Pratiharas and Rashtrakutas.

But you forget, Buddha was later accepted by Brahmins as an avatar, so you are just exaggerating it. You can only find some of the isolated incidents about Hindu kings persecuting Buddhism. As I mentioned greatest onslaught on Buddhism came from Huns and Turks.

Most of the Indus valley sites are on the bank of Ghaggar-Hakra in Haryana, Rajasthan and Southern-East Punjab province. :woot:

I agree main reason was for trade route and the marriage to his sister thing was bs obviously to disgust Muslims however I do not see why the ship part would be made up.

LOL Brahmins accepted Buddha as an avatar because it benefited them to do so Buddha never declared himself anything, it was Brahmin attempt to assimilate Buddhists into Hinduism that led to this. Anyway @Joe Shearer can give you a better perspective on how Brahmins specifically have tried to assimilate others into their fold with different results.

I agree about white hun and Turkics leading to decline as well but to say Buddhism was thriving before they came along is a lie as they were already being persecuted.

Mud sites, we had this discussion before. Most important sites end up in Pakistan anyway. The thing is these expanded to India in later phases, just like Vedic.

Except Mohenjodaro and Harappa, you can use the term for other sites in Pakistan. Vedic culture originated around the banks of Ghaggar-Hakra river in Haryana and Southern Punjab(Bahawalpur).

Not really, it originated along side Indus river. Then expanded to east in India starting around 500 BCE. We had this discussion before and proved where it originated. So lets end this.

The Buddhism that exists in entire Asia is the mix of Buddhism and Hinduism. Thailand's National Emblem Garuda originally comes from Hinduism.

Interesting quote here:
19th-century British ethnologist James Cowles Prichard (Researches Into the Physical History of Mankind, p. 238-239) says (speaking of the Rajputs from Rajasthan): "Of the Rajputs of Rajast'han.—The Rajputs possess all the open and best cultivated country in Rajast'han, and their fortresses crown the summits of its hills. They are distinguished from all the other inhabitants by their manners and physical characters. They are tall in stature, stout and handsome, with hooked noses and arched eye-brows. Their complexion is well known to be comparatively fair."

Rigveda don't considers Indus as the most important river. ;)
