Bangladeshi Ace Pilots

Sir:

Let me correct you and set the record staright. The massacre was started by the Bengali soldiers, and not by the West Pakistani soldiers, by killing there West Pakistani officers. Not only they killed them but also their familes including children. Most women were also raped. The Pakistani Govt did not disclose this in a fear of reprisal in West Pakistan, otherwise all East Pakistani's would have been butchered in West Pakistan. The action of the army was in revenge and revenge is always rough. It's very regretable that so many people were killed from both sides.

I personally know bengalis, who were appointed in governments ranks in 71 and were loyal to bangladesh's cause by 100% and still helped West Pakistan civilian officers escaping in the month of March, after Pakistani Army sarted massacring and as a consequence Bengalis started revolting. I know someone who was killed by Pakistan Army, helped a West Pakistani district commissioner flee from muktibahini at the beginning of the war.

I do not know why I am replying to you but you should state your source of knowledge before claiming such a preposterous idea.

You are replying because you are feeling guilty. The East Pakistan Rifles (and the Bengal Regiment) did exactly the same to their West Pakistani Army officers and families what they did recently to their own Bengali Army Officers and their families in the mutiny. So think before you speak.

I consider this discussion closed and would not respond.

Whether you respond or not is upto you. East Pakistan rifles in 71 mutinied mainly after 25th of March, when Pakistan Army started killing Muslims in Dhaka. And they mutinied under command of Pakistani Army officers like Major Shafiullah, Ziaur Rahman, Moinul Hussein, Khaled Mosharraf, most of whom had training from Command and Staff College, Quetta. Ziaur Rahman even had a Hilal-i-Jurat from 65 war. Don't give examples of sad things happening in Bangladesh right now. One can cite plenty of those happening in Pakistan in regular basis.

MM ALam was bangali too.Saif didn't flew in 71 and Alam was not given ACM missions.

Just for your information Alam was from 15th GD(P)...watching his any picture as Flt Cadet no one can say that this man will fly Sabers, Starfighters and Mirages and will command 11 and 5 Squadron.....and finally he will become ACE too.

Najam beta he is behari not from BD. And he did fly in 71 yes yes didn't fly any combat missions because he was Dir of OPS, He mostly took all the main decisions when and where to attack and who to send.

Sir , Did MM . Alam went to BD?

after 1971?

RJAF and IrAF were flying under a joint command. Flt. Lt. S. Azam became the only pilot from the Arab side to have shot down 3 IDF/IAF aircraft within 72 hours and also the only pilot to have shot down 3 different aircraft types of the IDF/IAF. He was, subsequently, decorated by Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan
:pakistan:

Sweet !!!
Bangalies cant take the pride for his shootings , reason.

At that time he was a PAF pilot not BAF:cheesy:

We trained him , and if he has an ace kills as a BAF pilot then he can be credited.! but we love him and respect him.

As far as I know, Mr. M. M. Alam remained with PAF after 1971 and I guess he has settled down somewhere in Pakistan with his family, although he was from Dhaka. There are many such people, military and non-military. There was one General Khwaja Wasiuddin, who kept on working for PA and came back to Dhaka only after his retirement. There are other people who remained in Pakistan.

Mr. Alam surely had a greater carreer opportunity and JOB SATISFACTION in the PAF comparing to what could have been in the half-built BAF immediately after 1971. Bihari or Bangali is irrelevant for such a decision. There are about one million Biharis in BD. The daughter of former Pakistani PM H. S. Suhrawardy remained in Karachi. There are thousand other similar cases.

You may be correct, but BD has not yet fought any war. How it is possible to make a killing without a war. By the way, PAF, as an institution, is in a position to produce very good pilots, but the BAF pilots are also trained meticulously. Pilots are great assets in the BAF, and for each plane BAF trains four pilots. So, we have a good pool of pilots.
