What enemy are we procuring these weapons against? We build up, our neighbours build up, we try to overtake them and it just results in a perpetual cycle. This is why South Asia will forever be poor. Africa will long since develop before India or Pakistan

Congrats to India for buying such a fine chopper. The only problem is the #, 22. It should be more like 60-80. India should focus on the most advance platforms.

Don't mock me you fool. Your just a pawn to propaganda like the rest of you subordinate Indians. Blanked by fear and guided by hatred. Shame on you for ruining the motherland.

It's the most advance out there. Actually, the only true heavy attack heli out there. The rest are either medium or light weight ones. India is building light weight ones, I believe.

Africa - 6% of Earth's surface area, 1 billion people (approx.), 57 countries accounting for $ 2 trillion (approx.) in nominal GDP

India + Pakistan - less than 2% of Earth's surface area, 1.4 billion people (approx.), accounting for $ 2 trillion (approx.) in nominal GDP

& u say Africa will become developed before India or Pakistan???

Hyperbole: an extravagant statement or figure of speech not intended to be taken literally.

Obviously you have no command over the English language. $2 trillion/ 1.4 billion < $2 trillion/ 1 billion. Can't do math can you?

You arbitrarily set the minimum posts limit to 1700 for my posts to be authentic in you eyes because at that point I will somehow have acquired some insight or knowledge that I currently do not possess. Please, you are a joke. I am Indo-Canadian born and raised. You don't have command over the English language nor do you have the ability to understand simple math. If this is the education system in India, I can clearly see why India is lacking behind China. Put down the Mahabharata, the Gita and the Ramayana and go open a textbook. Learn something instead of reading ancient mythology about things that never happened.

As for the cost, maybe there are far more things involved. Maybe, there is technology transfer etc., Which is not talked about. Maybe thats why it costs more. Just throwing it out there. So we cant look at money spent by another country, divide it by number of helicopters and then say India is being cheated. Am sure the govt that is spending money knows better.
