I have read that the Arjun is a fantastic tank but too heavy for Pakistani bridges. Which is where the Russian tanks still come in.

Is it not possible to shorten the chasis and shed some weight to make a smaller lighter version?

My Friend Compare Arjun to Abraham,Leo,Challenger and Merkava, Though they are more heavier than Arjun but still they are in Action in Iraq ,Afghanistan and Palestine where Infrastructure good for nothing. The reason for not inducting Arjun in numbers is lame.

Arjun was a heavy category Tank........

Drdo is already working on a lighter & more stronger FMBT.

Khalid never got defeated in the battle nor got killed by any body. There is a history behind this great name and the reason why we call out MBT as khalid.

But I agree.. ArjunII looks heavy and improved than before. What is its weight? 65Tons?

The new Arjun looks more T-90 inspired than it's old leopard inspired look. Turret has lost significant mass, profile is lower. Might have lost 4 to 8 tonnes.
