But literally I got hate remarks from a Croatian for Islamic extremism who was a Turkish lover from the time he lives in Istanbul, completely clueless as to what kind of religious atrocities his "secular" Turkish friends tried to hide from him.

Another time an Egyptian claimed Al-Queda originated in Pakistan. A Pakistani corrected him that Al-Queda and reminded him Osama's right hand man was an Egyptian.

I see Armenians calling us Islamic extremists but are cool bed brothers with the Iranians, a mullah/ayatollah Shariah theocracy!

More recently I saw a South Korean blaming Pakistanis for child prostitution, terror attacks, Islamic extremism, cousin marriages, supporting Bin Laden but claimed he was married to an Arab!

You have to consider who looses the most in such ethnic or nationalistic debates. It only erodes the unity of Muslims.

I don't believe Muslims can unite, nor would I want to unite with such corrupt peoples. It's hard enough unifying Pakistanis.

Mutual beneficiary co-operation amongst Muslim countries is great, but I find their cultures too narcissistic and corrupt that I could not see myself allying with them. I feel much friendlier with China.

There's bad Arabs and good Arabs. I have noticed, on the internet, the nationalistic Arabs are either racist or indifferent to non-Arab Muslims and the very religious Arabs are generally not racist. On a more personal note I've had Iraqi, Algerian, Yemeni and Saudi friends, some of them very close, they were all quite normal people, no complex or anything. My experience is in the West, not in Arab countries, so idk if that makes a difference.

Though I don't know about the general Arab opinion of Pakistan.. not talking about the rulers, but the average man on the street. When some of my relatives visited Mecca for pilgrimage, they (the women are tall and fair) were mistaken for Pakistanis and the Arab staffers (don't know which place) were like "hey wait they're Pakistanis, take them to..." and they were given a somewhat more special treatment than what regular Bangladeshis get. Make of it what you will.

I have lived in KSA for 15 years and I believe that I can explain their thought process regarding this. They only respect strong and educated people, they will respect them even if they hate them. Way back in the day, Saudis used to respect Pakistanis almost as much as they respected Americans and Europeans. This was due to the fact that Pakistanis were doing almost all the skilled jobs in KSA. However, when unskilled Pakistani labour started going to Saudi Arabia in mass then the perception regarding Pakistanis started to change and eventually we lost their respect.

The reason why Bengalis receive even less respect than Pakistanis and Indians is because there are hardly any Bangalis doing skilled jobs in KSA unlike Pakistanis and Indians. You will find a huge number of Pakistani and Indian doctors, engineers, accountants and professors but you will hardly find a Bangali working in these professions. This makes Bangalis look like uneducated and good-for-nothing people in the eyes of Saudis. I am sorry if my post offends any Bangalis but this is how things are over there.

Good, this is called having gheirat. Also in the current hostile geopolitical environment you need to raise a nation of staunch nationalists that strictly pursue the country's interests if you want to survive.

Ummah chummah Pakistanis are generally low IQ and naive. The real world is entirely different to their fanatical beliefs.

Only way forward is Pakistani Islamo-nationalism. Meaning being a Pakistani nationalist but also valuing your Islamic beliefs. Put your own people first.

Islamic nationalism doesn't work because who's Islam are we talking about here? Due to this, I have now become an advocate of secularism and I say this as a practising Muslim.
