Newer generation- with some early end millennials taking up decision making posts and pushing innovation. No more Boomer or Gen X general mediocrity or sticking to what they know
+ Lots of cash inflow due to WoT purchases finally leaving enough money for R&D.

Isn't the track width of Hamza too little vis-a-vis the cabin?

It's because of the hull has to taper to a v-shape at the bottom, that combined with the taller height, makes it better at surviving IEDs. This comes at a cost of adding the risk of the vehicle tipping over, a wider track width mitigates that to some extent, and improves high-speed handling. If you look at pictures of most MRAPs, you will notice they follow this same philosophy, and the the tires stick out past the body.

I've actually been fairly interested in MRAPs, and have studied them for some time. Design-wise, the Hamza 6x6 seems to be well designed.

2018 was a full aerobatic display by JF17 and F-16 and about a dozen fly by's. Lots of practice displays in days leading up to it.

This one just seemed like a fly by. I was close and could hear one formation of jets but could not see. Anybody know / see it?

Private sector company showcasing glide bomb kit with retargeting capability (and what seems to be a rocket booster with uncanny resemblance to REKIII).

couldn’t properly get the company name in the background. Qaswa Industries or something, didn’t figure the whole URL.
Is this Orhan missile Pakistani??

Localization is suspect until proven otherwise (we've all been stung before), but, I think the proposed applications are conceptually interesting at least. At some level, the PAF seems to be exploring different ideas for PGBs and AGMs. If anything, we could get some operationally interesting outcomes in a few years (albeit via a mix of imports and co-produced solutions).

Maybe it’s an outcome of the fairly recent offset policy.
