Good but most of our casualties in anti terror ops have been when convoys have been ambushed through IED's etc. Have our generals thought about investing in something more substantial for our Jawans who are serving at the front than the tin dubbas they have currently?

Looks fine I'd like to see how it fairs against RPG hits, and I'm also a tad worried about the open top i.e. snipers from higher elevations can take pot shots due the stationary nature of the post.

It was not built for that role, do you miss it is guard post. Only protects against rifles and grenade attacks.

I doubt it's meant to be deployed on the battlefront rather more of a secured watchtower outside bases, HQs, border passing point or even to guard educational institutions.

People forget that terrorists have RPGs.

If those are deployed then they can use RPGs against them.

I'm sure those working in defence industries would be more aware of the situation, a gun is easy to conceal than a an RPG launcher besides the armoured post gives much more protection than a guard or soldier standing in a wooden cabin.

How would some one make do with varying a RPG in the open in a city you near and airfield ? This is only to protect against enemy rifle or concealable grenade attacks

Its for check posts bro.. post of these are placed outside Garrison/bases etc for guard duties.

Also comes in 2 + man capacity... fully air conditioned.

Ah yes bro that explains a great deal. I was confused initially thinking that they were to be placed on the Western border, and I then imagined a whole series of scenarios.
I'm just thinking HIT has the ability to make automated weapons systems, why not supplement the border area with such posts but have automated guns with a Fauji in a laptop controlling it from a central location? I guess it is the cost factor.
