1 crore=100 lakh or 10million or 0.1 billion.
So 1 crore = 0.1 billion.

1 Billion = 100 Crore
1/100=0.01
Hence,
1 crore = 0.01 Billion

It happens, at times we do miss out a number or two

Its is $20.6bill at a conversion rate of 63.4/$. Do the math yourself,nobody is confused. And yes its a huge amount but it will be spread across a decade.

India should adopt international standard numbering system, at least on English media to reduce the confusion.
