Featured NSA spying row: Denmark accused of helping US spy on European officials

There is no perpetual friend or enemy in the political spectrum. There are only interests. Even an ordinary office clerk in the sub-continent has to constantly fight off office politics from his colleagues in irder to survive. Even there is family politics with in a family. No one is above suspicion. One should know these facts unless one comes from a different planet.

Man this is bad PR for Denmark.. Seems like it has pissed people in France and Germany.. My only concern now is if Merkel decides to put sanctions or tariffs on us as punishment this won't be good for our economy we rely heavily on free trade with Germany and they are our only land-link to the mainland.. Pissing off Angela Merkel is not in our best of interest..

The Danish government needs to act quickly and diffuse all tensions with Angela Merkel by sending over a wave of diplomats to her. Pleasing mama Merkel is in our best interest in this hour
Why does your intelligence agency help the United States monitor Denmark's own government and enterprises?
Unbelievable!

So the EU has not even punished and isolated America for its ruthless spying, theft, crimes against humanity and its repressive and inhumane rulers yet, but BBC is already shifting blame for Americas spying on an European country. 🤔
It is a "white men's world..." :what:

why Denmark do this? do they have bad relationship with Germany and France?

No there is no bad relationship which kinda baffled me that they were involved in this mess and not only that it got out to the public? Because Danes are the type of people to keep secrets tight

Europe is a militarily, politically, and culturally occupied region. It's full of Quislings who'll betray their own to the occupier.

Europe is politically and economically occupied by the Germans. Something previous germans failed to do but the other leftiest gov't achieved it without even trying hard.. Hence why tracking Merkel is important and key from the US point of view. She is the defacto European ruler. If the Germans tell the US to go an F' themselves EU is lost to them so technically everything is thru Germany hence why spying on Merkel had value.

Unbelievable!

I don't think they were listening to the Danish authorities but rather specifically France, Germany, Norway and Sweden these were the 4 countries

Should a country be deprived of its voting rights in international organizations if it is controlled by another country?
