we were both right and we were both wrong!!!

Shall we assume JFT didn't show up? but why?

I hope however I seriously doubt the PAF has done any thinking behind this.

I am not sure if it is a very good idea to put Thunder on display for the following reasons

1. You are presenting an aircraft without guarantees of Engine !
2. You are presenting an aircraft without diplomatic / sales support from your government
3. You are presenting an aircraft which has "Options" written where weapons and electronic profile shall be.

Sure, now every one can think of some answers to these points,
but business is not done this way, you need to put some thing credible on client's desk, and your government has to make the deal happen by hook or by crook.
Foreign office has to get to work, and ambassadors have to appoint account managers.

my fear is, after a hoo haa of what a great air craft it is, and nothing to show for orders
it will keep becoming more and more difficult to answer at every newer exhibition why we didn't get some thing out of the last one.

JF-17 is evolving and what we need to do is send in a sqadron in one of these trade shows to show their capabilities

Marketing company is needed to promote the planes -
