Nuclear Deterrence: Global Islam, Palestine and the Western chopping board.

I do agree that Israel's nuclear shield plays a role in their aggressiveness. Most likely, Pakistan is basically the one we are expecting to provide this umbrella. Only superpowers like USA provide nuclear umbrellas to other countries weaker than it. Pakistan is barely surviving so it cannot...

Pakistan - Turkey (PAC-TAI) Collaboration for NGFA-TFX 5th Gen Aircraft l Updates, News & Discussion

Consider this a more accurate size comparison: So your feeling was right that that picture was making the F22 look smaller than it really is. Notice how the F22 vertical tails reach up till where Kaan's vertical tails are even though Kaan sits much higher.

Pakistan - Turkey (PAC-TAI) Collaboration for NGFA-TFX 5th Gen Aircraft l Updates, News & Discussion

PAF is quite serious. Keep in mind PAF wants to buy block 30 onwards - not block 10 or 20. The primary hope is that the Turkish engine comes online by then. Otherwise, Russian/Chinese engines MAY be considered but they will be a hard sell for the Turks because they'll have to deal with an...

Pakistan - Turkey (PAC-TAI) Collaboration for NGFA-TFX 5th Gen Aircraft l Updates, News & Discussion

I'll have to double check the dimensions (I can easily) but I am reasonably sure that Kaan's current undercarriage is definitely taller than the F-22's. I don't know why that is. There's a whole series of guesses of logic that I have but I don't feel comfortable sharing them because they are...

Turkish Commander Checks Out JF-17 C

The Turks are very suspicious of the Chinese - and for a lot of right reasons. You have to keep in mind Turkiye is a part of NATO and has been a target of espionage attempts. Furthermore, Pakistanis are seen as easily used Chinese moles sometimes by some quarters - there are some real examples...

Turkish Commander Checks Out JF-17 C

You have no idea how scarily accurate that question is. PAF's perspective: technically yes, contractually no. And you know how much Pakistanis care about contracts (nothing to be proud of).

Turkish Commander Checks Out JF-17 C

The utility is the eventual bring up of all JF-17s to this block 3 or block 3 prime standard. There is a limit to how much China is willing to support an aircraft program that they do not operate.

    Pakistan Test Fires Ghauri MRBM

Honestly, I don't know. I don't want to make a guess and end up looking stupid lol.

Turkish Commander Checks Out JF-17 C

I meant that I wouldn't call the Turkofied a JF-17 Block 4. Maybe just block 3Prime or something. And TFX is where the collaboration is going to be I think and hope.

Turkish Commander Checks Out JF-17 C

That's a subjective question. IMHO no.

    Ababeel Missile Tested

I think the thing holding our ballistic missile program is the solid-rocket motor technology. I think a lot of the other things are pretty advanced. It's not always about expertise but also about money and the risks that they are willing to take. It takes decades for us to fully develop and...

    Pakistan UAVs News & Discussions

Production is primarily what they are setting up shop for now these days. Let's hope the PAF doesn't scare them away. For now they are playing extremely nice but one-off exceptions don't usually have long lifespan as sound policy. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

    Pakistan UAVs News & Discussions

PAF is all in on Baykar these days. Baykar has found a big fighting force that has bought their products, has promised to be many more, and is willing to fund possible local developments (R&D). Baykar couldn't do this with TurAF because Turkish Aerospace exists in Turkiye, which is the big...
