Imo Pakistan must shift away from water intensive crops , sugar can is a crop that is draining our already strained water resources..
We are a agricultural dependent economy yet we import edible oil and daal.

This stupid bickering of who has more sugar mills need to end,the masses should realizes that they should work for their own and its extension the peoples interest.
Each people have their respective mafia that they support and this forum is a prime location to see this.

Demand the government to discourage water intensive crop irrespective of which party you support.

ahh there is a case in the court where cotton fields were made into sugar cane fields. sugar mills brought to an area where cotton is grown. All done in the tooi party tenure !!

gov is going to allow cheaper sugar without any duty to deplete this mafia and sugar prices in international market is apparently.
