Bro, i visited almost every city in Saudi Arabia, including Khamis mushyt, Jizan, makah, Sabya, Riyadh, Jeddah , medina, thuwal, Trend is changing, new generation is getting education from U.K , U.S.A universities, and also standard of education in Saudi Arabia is very much improving compare to last decade. I worked as travel consultant in Air Arabia airline Jizan office, Also Al-Zohair travel & tourism , so I have many connections and I know many Saudi personally. They don't support terrorism. About Imam in Saudi Arabia, they just says what Quran tells us, it's up to people how they interprete wrong or right or exaggerate things.

Yes you are right it depends on interpretation and depends how people take it seriously, Extremism is problem in Pakistan too, Turkey also supported ISIS Against other groups, Now, I think they realize they were doing mistake but damage is also done and it will decade to recover it and to eliminate extremism. They have soft stance present in ruling AKP party against many miltitants. People is losing hope from AKP party with every passing day,
