‘You have to neutralise terrorist through terrorist only,’ says Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar

Anyway, the sense that I get from our DM is not only is he forthright to the point to being direct; this was not a mistake since he doubles down and then says that the the army is not for peace.

Yes his statements seem to be very intentional.

@kaku1 @nair

You're sensible members, you're on one hand arguing that he didn't mean DM did not mean what we're interpreting, and then you're saying, well what other choice do we have?

My point was consistent, the only contradiction was made when i wanted to make a point to spring onion, that too was for argument sake and was mentioned it while making it...... Having said that, DM Should have been more careful using his words.......

Agreed..... We have tried screwing each other ever since we are independent.......What did we gain???? Few thousand coffins...... Did we learn anything from it??? I would say nothing, even if we have learnt anything we have forgotten it in the next moment....India may be having upper hand since 2004, not only because of War on terror, But because of its policies to improve its economy...... We were most vulnerable during 90's and Pakistan has used the opportunity very well....But I guess time has come that we mind our own business and work on improving internal threats.........

What is odd indeed is that a man in his position has said it outright.[/QUOTE]

Pretty odd..... He should have been careful talking to Media....... They are known for twisting words for headlines.....
