According to Global Research quoting European sources, some 4,000 Saudi soldiers have deserted! !

For fear of having to face the Yemeni battalions during a possible ground offensive against Yemen 4000 Saudi soldiers fled their military bases in border regions.

The Saudi authorities are trying to maintain a total black out on these massive desertions in the units and military bases but failed to hide the reality of Western security services.

The sources said contacts were detected between military commanders and the Saudi defense minister who directs operations.These contacts deal indeed these mass desertions. There are reports of the leak of more than 10,000 Saudi soldiers in the past four weeks.

Experts point out particularly dented the morale of the Saudi military to the threshold of a possible ground attack against Yemen.

Saudi intelligence for a ground invasion of Yemen in these conditions amounts to a suicide in order for the regime of al-Saud.

Saudis are NOT cowards. Ask yourself; why Saudis who fought for ''Allah'' (in Afganistan, Chechniya, Bosnia, Iraq, Syria, Dagestan, etc) fought like lions and their graves are throughout the World.

Then you have those Saudis who are better equiped, trained, but deserting to fight for ''House of Al-Saud''. Saudis are Islamically knowledgable people and no ''governement paid scholar'' is going to convince them fighting and dying in Yemen is martyrdom and will lead to heaven. They know it's hell!

Why do you think the Saudi government wanted Pakistani soldiers? They knew this might happen.

putin needs sales of russian equipment. our equipment is good and reliable. Ask the indian fellows here. Indian Army is very pleased with russian products.

Russian products are made with best soviet designs and best available materials in the world like titan, nanofiber. We can make all varieties of chemical oil products, all kinds of plastic materials.

You should send some of your delegations to russian arms fairs in moscow and see for yourself.

Russia is the strongest military power in the world and we want to become partners with many countries like saudi kingdom.

Yeah according to my knowledge, Saudi will soon starts making huge Russian arms deals, hopefully. You can see signs of this with the recent 1Billion of the 4 Billion dollar army grant to Lebanon, being directed to Russia under supervision of Sa'ad Hariri.

They are a lot better than what the US sells you at inflated prices...just look around Mil are flying in remote and under severe climatic condition and how many US comparable helicopter are flying....
The Mi28N and the Mi35 in the hand of Iraqis are better than anything you have...

To use these weapons against who? muslims? not israel,Saudi should be ashamed of themselves waging a war against muslims. They dare not speak against israel. This is victory from Allah for Yemeni people against house of saud not saudi arabia as i believe not all of Saudi arabians think and insecure like house of saud.
israel US and Europe understanably dont like Iran because iran is muslim country and above mentiond countries are not and Iran continue to defy them. what i dont understand is how come Saudi Arabia a muslim country ally itself with non muslims against a muslim country. And as of now they are killing muslims in Yemen just like Israel does it in Palestine giving israel a strong case to make that hey look saudis bombed yemen just like we do in Palestine. Such a shame may Allah replace this house of saud with some righeous leaders in Saudi Arabia who can lead muslims and unite them instead of dividing them
