Ofcourse. All true - except a small typo. I think your autocorrect changed “people with centuries old religious history and cultural identity” to “poverty and backwardness”It's plain to see by whoever not blind that the only thing China completely genocided in Xinjiang in the past a couple of decades was poverty and backwardness.
China has tens of millions of religious people, Christians, Buddists, Muslims, religions don't slow down China's development of modernization, even China's newly built mosques and Buddist temples are super modern now.Ofcourse. Those days had been gone for good. Can you imagine just 10 years ago this region was experiencing weekly bombings and attacks?

LmaooThe first girl is beautiful and charming, many othes are too, but they need not wear such short skirts and they should definitely not be thin. Their beautiful will be enhanced if they put on 15 kgs or so.
It's Chinese style and taste, similar in Japan, Korea and Vietnam, east Asians taste for beauty is different from south Asians. The first girl is beautiful and charming, many othes are too, but they need not wear such short skirts and they should definitely not be thin. I call them modern casual clothing, traditional western clothings are not like these. I agree some well established international standards like western calendar could be very hard to replace. cultures always evolve and learn from each other, I see nothing wrong with it.No matter how wealthy or «modern» people become in Asia, they end up dressing like westerners. All those young people are simply copying American Jeans T shirt fashion or French-Italin hot coutoure.
Dokt get me wrong, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery but its kinda sucks to see entire world become a monolithic popular culture.
